Exceptional tours of the Unité d’Habitation!

 

During School holidays (from 10/02 to 25/02, from 7/04 to 22/04, from 20/10 to 4/11, from 22/12 to 6/01/2019) : every Saturday at 2 pm and 3.30 pm (except on public holidays).

From 11/07 to 2/09 : every Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 10.30 am, 2 pm and 3.30 pm (except on public holidays).

During the rest of the year : every Saturday at 2 pm and 3.30 pm (except on public holidays).

Additional visits during long week-ends (28/04, 5/05 et 19/05) : 10.30 am, 2 pm and 3.30 pm.

 

Departure at Maison de la Culture (Cultural Centre)

Come and stroll around with our facilitators in the Unité d’Habitation of Firminy, latest of the 5 Le Corbusier’s Housing Units. The  “Cité Radieuse” in Marseille was the first one to be built, and acted as a model for the four others: Rezé-les-Nantes, Briey-en-Forêt, Berlin and Firminy.
Discover the unmodified 60s show-appartement, and enjoy the amazing view from the nursery school and the roof-top.

  • Duration: 75 minutes
  • Charge: full price €10 / reduced price €8.50 / Free of charge for children under 8 years old. Does not include the site entrance (Cultural Centre and church of Saint-Pierre).
